Thanks Jerry, BTW, I have till the end of march before inspection. I need to get those springs in by then. I Am gonna use the bushings that are already in those springs, but I have to drill out the spring mount to accept the 3/4" (19mm) hardware as well as the shackle mount on the frame to accept the new shackle hardware.

Nice tires man!!! Told you they'd fit..

Go ahead and use the airsoft. You need a small bottle 2,000 I think of the 20g pellets for each tire.

Still thinking about it, but money is tight and I don't have a lot of time. I don't care if the tires don't get balanced by the end of the month, but I do care that I get these tires and springs on.

Gonna have to get new bolts for the front leaf mount, but don't know for sure till I get the old ones out. The ones with the springs I got are seized to the bushing sleeve so I am gonna have to step up to the 3/4 hardware. And I am not gonna try to remove them from them. NO vice. Well I got a vice, but no where solid to mount it to and it's gonna be a PITA anyway.

Also gonna need 4 new bushings for the frame side of the shackle mounts as well. $2.44 x 4 (they are half sleeves) @ NAPA and drill the rubber out to 3/4" if I am gonna wind up using the shackles from these lift springs. If not then I need 8 bushing halves from Napa. I just don't know.

I feel comfortable using the old bushings in the springs even the ones where the sleeve ripe out, it's only a small amount of rubber removed from the middle of the bushings, which will make a good pocket for the grease.

This happens to me all the damn time with this thing, I try to go the right route, but either time screws me or money, and well we know how "understanding" the other half is if I need the extra money.

I don't know if it's because we aren't married or what, but my money is my money, her money is hers. I still owe her $1600 on the truck, between the rebuild and paying off the truck. But it's more like the money that was used in the rebuild where the truck is paid off. But I guess since the motor is a part of the truck might as well say $1600 on the truck.

All bills are half and half. Food well I hardly ever have money left over from paying bills and child support (which according to her is not her problem) to pay half on the food here.

You still have 20 minutes left of this secession. So what else is on your mind? What is bothering you this morning. Were all here to help.

I'll start. Hello My name is Lumpy (that's all I'm telling you!!!) I'm 35 single soon to be married. I don't make enough money to support the future wife and my truck. I guess I won't be getting married!!!

lol, lumy. Change of plans, I didn't realize the Engery poly bushings were still mostly pliable, thanks to yotarob, saved a headache. I can use or not use the inserts that come with the ES poly's. So I am not too worried about that 1" loss of travel with them, I was more worried about twisting up and breaking leafs with them.

A&A autoparts has them for $35 and I can have them today if I get there early enough. Autozone has em for $25 but I'd have to wait 3-5 days. I might as well order them online for cheaper. But if A&A can price match I'll pay the $25 for them. Still need that 3/4" drill bit though for the frame size of the shackle mount. Maybe a step down bit will work instead? Those are pretty cheap at HF.

This is all assuming my u-bolts are gonna cooperate though. Assuming they will since they were probably off 2 years ago. Crossing figures. lol.

41, still on my 1st wife. no advice here....not that ya wanted any.

will be enroute from Nanticoke to Sam's Club at about 2-230ish if you want the sawzall......no tires today.....you seem like you are up to your eyeballs in tires right now....unless you really want them today, then I can just throw them in the wife's 4runner.will have the wife with me but she will be blind after her eye doctor's appointment...........good day to drop her off somewhere and see how her homing skills are.

ok, I'm being a bonehead today. There is no hole to drill in the frame side shackle mount. Only the front mount. Which assuming my old hardware comes out correctly and not stuck in the bushing like the new springs or strips the threads, I will be able to reuse them. They shouldn't though. They were apart about 2 years ago when I had the frame repaired above those mounts, and talking to the guy today he uses anti-sieze on everything.

sawzall mostly to get the bushing out of the new springs. But probably gonna have to use it on that bumper corner mount as well. Hammer should do the trick on the rocker panel.

Not sure on the bed yet though. I might just space the bed up some more we will see. I don't have a dremel but I do have a cheapy HF one. But that doesn't hold RPM for .

Thinking a dremel and a cutting bit (not a wheel) will work best to make a contour cut in the aluminum.
