Done. !!!! The duct tape (cheap stuff from Home Depot) held on pretty darn good. Was somewhat difficult to get off actually.
4-5 coats. I would say about half the can. The paint did not bleed one bit. But I would like to let anyone know when using duct tape, that keep an eye on the strings from the tape. Within the first coat or two, I noticed some of the strings keeping the paint from hitting the wood.

I think eventually (depending on what color I decide to make the wood) If black, to match the most likely color of what I am gonna paint the aluminum, "yotatech" will be made white. But if I paint/stain the wood tan to match the truck, it will stay black.

haha the stencil thing wasn't that bad really. As far as brush on the closest thing I can do with that is to use a brush on paint and on the last coat use a thicker coat and add glass bead dust to it, just like they do with road paint. But I was advised by Sherman Williams that since it's a vertical surface that even when dry it will tend to flake the beads off.
Now when I go to do this over again in the summer, I can always order that spray on coat and have it come time to repaint the truck.

I decided on the yotatech because the girlfriend brought it up and to be different.
As far as color, I am heavily leaning towards flat desert tan, but seeing more and more of the tan colors, I might have to rethink it.
Flat black and Olive drab IMO are overdone and me being prior military chose the tan and when I made the decision to go with tan there wasn't too many that color. Now it seems there is alot of them.
