I keep coming back and looking at this bumper, I really like it. I think what catches me is the swing-out and the versatility. You can remove it, you can leave one on, you can keep both on, you can have additional attachments done for future hobby's or work tasks and just keep interchanging them. It's so versatile that it can't be outdated no matter what type of hobby or sport you want to get into. It's like individual combat gear, we would always change our load bearing equipment setup for the mission, terrain, conditions, time, activity, etc... Awesome setup you have, if I ever got into off-road driving I'd definitely have one made for my truck.

that was my goal. to have different attachments down the road. i try to redo/change my setup according to my experience from the trail. its better to slowly build your rig to your needs than to dump and bunch of mods that you see online but never need lol

i love it. trust me, i would have gone with a TAG as well if it wasnt for the reviews. getting one built imo ended up costing the same if not a little less plus it comes out better and the way i want.

so it finally got warm enoughish to finish repainting my bumper and throw the swing outs back on. the swing out is a Metallic Charcoal (out of stock at every store) i barely had enough to do the dual swing outs. i was gonna repaint my rear bumper the same Semi Gloss Black but couldnt decided between Semi Gloss or Gloss Black. well i went with the Hammer Black which when dried a really dark gray which i wanted. anyways here are the pictures of it all finished up minus the top two dust caps

a little reading material while it dried

i purposely wanted the swing out and bumper to be different colors.

my coworker wanted to hump the sweet swing out

The bumper I got off CL. I went to gilroy to pick it up. Told me it was a Hanson bumper which they don't make anymore cuz they wanted to be on easy street and only make heep stuff. I found Billy at Brute Force Fab and told him I wanted to add dual swing outs. Took me a few months before I finally went ahead and had him do what he does best. He is local and just moved to a bigger shop. He could build you a bumper and or swing out how you want too

That bumper is wicked man! Got any side shots? Whats the total (estimated) weight of the bumper loaded?

unsure on the weight of the bumper. i wanna say around 65-75lbs, i was able to pick it up by myself

than i added the two swing outs. each swing if i had to guess around 20-30lbs

that is an old spare tire and rim. i will be running a lighter rim. so the new rim is around 17-18 lbs. the rubber is pretty worn out so its much lighter than if it is new. i intentionally wanted to use a worn out tire. no need to carry a new spare to watch it rot away on the swing out.

than we have the weight of a 5 gallon water jug- about 45lbs

so on a guess, rear bumper geared up be around 150-185lbs plus whatever the rubber weight is. i could be way off here lol

best side shots i have

That is so flipping great! Love it, Toyo! I thought you'd already painted the whole thing, charcoal metallic... These pics here are from before that?

Nice! a black Trasharoo would work well on that spare tire. You can stuff a lot of stuff in there for the trail or camping.
