Wow, that looks like a lot of fun! Best wishes on the changing up of vehicles and finding a good one! Can't wait to see the new tundra when you find one! did you find yourself needing the 4 wheel drive more than you thought you would on the beach trips? what beach is that?

i dont need a 4wd for pismo as long as i dont camp to far in to the dunes but in order to be near the restroom i have to drive further back. so a 4wd will be nice

no need to register, just show up. i would keep an eye out of reservations for camping spot on Reserve America website if you plan on camping on the dunes sat-sun. well fri-sun if you plan to friday as well. 2 days at pismo is long enough for me lol so i just do sat-sun

just in case anyone else wants to go earlier, im also going to Huckfest at pismo on aug 24-25

length of stay would be 1. your basically paying for Sat ($5) and to camp that night would be another ($5) which really just pays for Sun

so if you do it online, it be $10 plus online fees. you dont have to do it online and just show up and pay $10 total. as long as there spots left. i use the website and keep and eye out, if it gets down to like 300 spots left i just buy online or risk camping the night and getting fine $250. i have done it twice without a camping pass because it was sold out but didnt get caught.

if your just going for the day, no camping. you can always get in no matter what for $5. they just allow 999 vehicles to camp that is all..

Ahhh.... So, that is the campsite you use? Oceano Dunes, 3 miles south of Pismo Beach?

Why does it say $10 per night? Hmmm, maybe it was total cuz I put in Friday-Sunday... Just need to make site in the campsite so I'm not reserving something down the beach, lol.

the new TOY.
2004 Tundra 4x4 TRD w/ LSD
97k miles. Clean Title.
current mods: HID headlights, Blue interior floor LED lighting, mild lift, 285/75R16 tires that look fairly new and 16 alloy rims. tail gate strip LED brake light.

due for 90k service. t-belt, water pump, spark plugs, t-stat, front/rear diff fluids
trans fluid is still bloody red so i leave that alone for now
the rack and pinon is leaking so i will be replacing that 1st

this was the cleanest one i found in the 2-3 months of looking. most was selling 2wd and salvage title. i really wanted a white one but never could find a 4x4 white trd. interior has seat covers including a cover for the arm rest. this tundra was definitely a mall crawler. the hitch doesnt even look like its been used

get better pictures later

Grats man! She's looking good! Good luck changing out the quad for the buggy now. Those things look like about the most fun you can have on four wheels that don't involve a lady.
