We took 2nd again. Lost by like 1% of the total points.....which amounted to something like 3 shots. Actually had the lead until the final event and sorta got hosed. Got some good helmet cam video that I'm going to try to get up on our website in the near future.

OK, finally got the bumpers done this weekend....

and the back....

Not super happy with how the rear bumper turned out, but I'm already planning on building another one with provisions for a swing out tire carrier so this one is really just "temporary" anyway and will work just fine for now. The front still needs to be wired for a set of driving lights and multi-mount wiring, but that's minor stuff that'll come in time.
Light at the end of the tunnel is getting a little brighter.....

thanks, next updates should be some finished interior pics. Still have to get the rollbar in and rear panels secured, and sort out some engine noise coming through the door speakers. That's a strange one cause I only get it in the doors, not the dash, rears, or sub. I'm thinking it's due to the speaker wire running next to the amp power wire and other power wires running to the rear window box on the driver side.

Using shielded wire?
I solved an issue like that once with some Heavy Gauge Shielded wire with some secondary heatshrink. Maybe? lol.... I'm not electronics expert, AT ALL! lol... Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Perhaps I'll look into that. I think my first attempt is going to be to separate the speaker/power wires where they run next to each other under the door sill. Will try putting the speaker wire as far inboard as I can and see if that helps.

Nope, didn't use any special tools.....unless a Vice-Grip is a special tool! I just made my mark where I wanted the bend to be, measured down another 1/2" for my cut line, then bent along the bend line with a pair of vice-grips. In the corners I made relief cuts every few inches or wherever necessary and welded them up when I was finished.

Neither, I used a 4 1/2" angle grinder and a cutoff wheel. No worries about asking questions, the whole reason I posted this build was perhaps give others some ideas. I'm no expert like some of the people on here, and don't always have all the right tools, so I figured this build may relate to a lot of people.
