Bunch 'o smart alecs over here...

Yep, R151F (the big black plug in the bellhousing gives it away), and a Marlin 1800 lb HD Clutch Kit behind it. The trans seems to be in really good shape, I don't think I'm going to have to rebuild it...I'm pumped. It won't go in for a while, but still.

Also, a Harry Potter broom would be awesome Abe...I'd be flying all over.

Sounds like you're riding high already.

I'm kinda interested in how this is going to go. Transmission swaps are always fun.

Nice...If my transmission ever goes out again, I will be swapping it for one of those...is it a turbo or a v6 transmission, because the turbo has a lower first gear if I remember correctly

Trans + engine swap should be a lot of fun...Pretty much gonna be a whole new drivetrain by the time I'm done

WTH...haha...

Got another little bit of metal today, an A340F bellhousing. This will bolt onto a UZ series motor.

Whoops...Figured out last night I got the wrong bellhousing. Compare!

Fortunately, the same place I got the A340F bellhousing from has an A340E/341E, but there's a hardcore rear ended LS400 on top of it.

Guy doesn't really want to pull the engine for just the bellhousing, so I told him I'd buy the engine for the right price.

Lookin' like I'm gonna get a 1UZ for $300, if it isn't in terrible shape. Apparently it needs belts. I'll maybe get some accessories too...But I'm not a money tree so...

Glad I had enough extensions to get my hands out of the bellhousing, my knuckles would have looked like Skeletor. Those bolts probably have never been removed in the 20 year life of this trans...
