the roof rack isn't wide enough for me to be able to drill a hole the size of the bolt thats on the lights, so i'm searching for a roof rack gutter mount that i can drill into. And use that as a light bar.

Just be careful, Brian, not to head into some low hang with those lights and rack up there and 'KRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK-SNAP!' , ya hear? Have you ever entertained installing that rack sideways on cab, over your head?

Have fun, and best wishes with your lighting and lift!

Yeah I gotta be careful now, it's only 4 nuts and the top is off. Only 5 min tops. And I found a gutter-mount KC light bar which I can mount my big 6" 100w lights to. I'm going to attach them to clips so I can take the lights on and off with ease.

yeah that book looks like it was wheeled more than his truck was. haha. J/K.

remember the 85's were solid axle. so most of the suspension stuff in it is not gonna be applicable to yours.
