One thing I know for sure is that it's a decent sized company. NOTHING like ARB,...more of a private enterprise like Addicted... But they're really unique, that's why they stuck out. YOU MIGHT NOT EVEN LIKE THEM, never know, lol. anyway, If I think of it or come across it, I'll be sure to slap it here, k?

Hey Brian, ....I'm NOT SURE it was Iron Bull... but it looks similar to (18 of 121) on this page....

http://www.hdbumpers.com/toyota.html

......... Personally, I think they're sweet... But I've found some of these ARB style ones are just getting less and less available for our rigs! there is another name out there, and they build their own from scratch, ... but I just can't think of it.

They went by a different name before but I can't remember what it is.

They used to be called Kennesaw Mountain. Unless they've drastically changed their customer service along with their name and website, stay far, far away. Search "Kennesaw Mountain" on this forum and see why for yourself. Here's one thread from a KM bumper owner:
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/p...-night-163526/
It's worth reading through it just to see how bad these guys are to deal with.

Zelephant, hahahaha... love the G'force ID! lol.

Did you look at the link I posted, Z? I thought I remembered a couple people saying the Iron Bull Bumpers were STOUT, .... and I really like the interesting look) I guess they have an interesting 'casting' for them??? I will google "Iron Bull" when I have more time, just running on and off all morning, lol.

Haha, thanks; was wondering how long it would take to get a comment on my tactical bunny! Not G-Force, though. It comes from an anime short movie called CatS**tOne.
Much cooler than G-Force!

Yeah, I saw your link. I haven't heard of Iron Bull Bumpers before, so I can't comment. They do look nice, but I doubt they're available for 1st gens. I have done research on Kennesaw Mountain/TAG bumpers, though, and what I found wasn't pretty.

hahaha.... Well, not sure, but I'm pretty sure that'll get 'flagged'........

Thanks on the response on the bumpers... was just trying to find that for Brian. I know there was another brand that DOES make them for ours(1st Gen Runners)..but I can't find it, I tried.

The more and more I think about it, I think i'm gonna go with a plate style rear bumper to match the ARB.

I've seen some REALLY nice ones, Brian, .... two hooks, some even wrapping around to mock the panels.... They are really nice. That guy at Rausch had one, I know, on a 89+ style pickup, but I've seen plenty on ours, and there are TONSSSSSSSSSS of threads on that, even with schematics, in some I remember, with the dimensions of the bumpers. Heck, you have a plasma cutter at your disposal.... start cuttin! lol.

I've also seen guys take the TG bumpers and fill the spaces with Plating, ...that didn't look bad on one I'd seen either. But, ...yeah, I guess it's just not the same symmetry, yeah?

Yeah I really like the ones that wrap around to mock the panels, those are awesome! I'm gonna see what I can find as far as plate bumpers and fab something up it what I buy doesn't fit my needs lol. And yeah I have MANY machines at my disposal plasma cutter from 11 - 400+ amps and welders (stick, tig, mig) from 100 - 700 amps lol

I've considered doing that but I don't think it will look too good.

Yeah, the Big Wabbit who likes to rip the axles off his yotas and then forget about them would've sniped me.

Another rear plate bumper you might consider would be Padgett Fabrication. Doesn't have the wrap-around panels, though. BTW, Swimmer, are you looking at something with a tire carrier, or just a basic bumper?

i wheeled with a guy who had a bumper from those guys. he said the price was decent, but the "powder coat" was starting to come off. sure enough, you could see it bubbling up underneath the paint. and he had an issue with getting it delivered/picked up.

just some info. i like their front bumpers, but i would paint it myself (hammered rustolium for ease of touch-up)

Wow those look awesome! I think I'm gonna email them later. Ideally I'd like to find one that can hold a spare and 2 Jerry cans.

Interesting, I'd probably have it powdercoated myself, it'd be easier.

Yes, those are nice! Curious though... why does that bumper have a wrap around on it if they don't come with them? Or in that pic of the blue taco, does it just come RIGHT UP to the bumper?
