The salt is the real killer.
Actually doesn't seem like a bad idea. You wont have to worry about cleanningout your basket or lights/rack.

I would caution the use of the condom for extended periods and if the temp raises during the day to collect humidity under it. The cover doesn't breathe so it will trap moisture, creating an environment to excelerate rust. Jut a thought.

going to be real hard to get off with 8 to 10 inches on it. That is for a trailer queen that can not get in her garage not a 4 wheel truck
