Ok... time for an update....

Found these for a steal... 32 bfgs. Only thing is I need to find two more which I hope to get very soon.

Also got my Yakima towers for my roof rack in the mail. I used a 1" stainless pipe that I had laying around for the crossbars. Cut them to 52'' long for a perfect fit.

Now to step back and enjoy.

Also, did i mention I mounted them myself!!! Lots of DW40, soapy water, a couple of flat head screwdrivers, prybars, and a small towel to serve as a rim protector. I did get a couple of dings on the aluminum rims but they are minimal. Saved me a couple bucks, now i just need to balance em...

Next on the list
- Small BD lift
-Armor

Sprung A Leak

^ Thanks, I like them too.

Well here's a problem that has been surfacing for the last month or so :

At first i thought it was brake fluid but that checked out alright. It seemed like a mixture of grease and oil when i pulled the drums but could not locate the leak. I cleaned all the grease/oil and a week later it was covered with it again. I now know it's the wheel seal since the diff was low on fluid. So yesterday I popped the breather and cleaned it hoping the seal will do its job again but no luck.

Now, I am not sure if I should just replace the seals or seasl and bearings considering they have 298,xxx. I know Marlin has a special on the whole kit. Any input is appreciated.

Although I was not able to get any input on this, I bit the bullet and ordered Marlin Crawler's Rear Axle Service Kit:

The kit contains everything necessary for both rear axles.
Marlin's Oil Seal:

After taking of the tire and drum I found this:

A little penetrating oil and it should be good to come out:

The old bearing had a good amount of play, but it is no surprise considering they are the originals with 298,xxx miles!!

Out with the old:

And bring on the new:

I also replaced this

with this:

Buttoned her back up:

Bled the brakes with my own invention:

The workstation:

Nope, It's got a cat followed by a glasspack. Straight pipes would be too loud, even with the glasspack it's a little loud.
