wow, thats a good build too!

i was thinking about your build up last night and a couple questions came to mind:

what didnt you like about the 7mgte?

what made you choose to swap it out for the 3.4?

what are your thoughts on the 7mge?

thanks

well there has been talk of me selling the truck....possibly...what will go with it if it is sold is the following
1-92 x-cab, title
the frame and all the tube work that I have done(and a bunch of extra tube pieces
3.4L and a bellhousing to adapt to a R151 or R150
ALL THE LINKS and the Currie JJ's even the spares, a load of 3/4" hiems
spare links
sorry, the axles don't go (unless someone really wants them)
t-case and fancy ass t-case x-member I built
snorkel
1/2 doors
ANY SPARE parts and extra pieces I have (extra headlights, grills, doorpanels, glass, heater cores, dashs yada, yada)
MUCH MUCH MORE
I am keeping the tires and wheels
You guys know how much time and $$$ I have into this project...I know that I'll lose on it but oh well

PM me if you are INTERESTED....this truck would be badass but I'm more than likely going to the inevitable for my needs...a buggy

crazy, can't believe you're selling it before you get the chance to wheel it. well, good luck with selling it and with the next build.

OK, I just read this entire thread and I can honestly say that the fab work was very well thought out and the quality of this build was awsome! I have built a few rigs that can be found on 4x4n.com, but nothing like this one. Are you really planning on selling this vehicle?

UPDATE TIME!
Back into the shop

Back out of the truck

Adapter Plate to run Toyota case behind a TH350 and the 4340 output shaft so what happened to Jamie and Jake doesn't happen to me...

Propane setup in the bag

I'll keep it and I'm already planning on the next buggy...I'm keeping it and getting a bigger trailer so I can haul both when that time comes..who knows maybe I'll have a companion to drive one or the other

NOT EVEN CLOSE! I had to cut the entire radiator support out of a 2nd gen 4runner it is a bitch and not worth the aggravation

how much wider did the fzj axles make you over stock width? how much backspacing did you add when you had the center's added to the h1 wheels?
