Good work on the cases. Glad that you are picking up some extra work building cases for others, but don't forget that your first priority is to your truck and the updates that you put on this board. Just kidding. Great progress though.

OK. Here is an update for ya guys
Today, I had 2 wisdom teeth removed...(forgive if spelling is F'd up....good drugs)
so now building cases is a priority( for $$$$)
I bought a house today*parpework went through
I have deciced (against better judgement) to go with an exo to speed up the build and slow down the money into it. I will have a ton in time and tubing if I go interior cage and I'll still destroy the cab

MADE SOME PROGRESS!

I finally got around to finishing up a few things

1. I got my t-case x-member built

1 3/4 DOM tubing.....BIG poly bushings(3/4" bolts)

Need to finish welding the bottom of it

flat belly

2. I flipped where the exhaust dumps from the pass. side to the d. side(I used all stock pieces!)

3. Cab is back on the frame

engine bay

4. Got some seats

2002 WJ 8-way power adjustable, heated leather seats

Now for the problems I encountered

1. Shifter

The t-case shifter is where my trans shifter should be, and my trans shifter is under my dash

THE FIX: I have to pull the trans again to put the clutch, pressure plate, etc and 4.7's in. When I do that I'm going to convert the t-case to top shift(prob make a 3x stick to incorprate the twin stick from rear cases) from front shift and "dog leg" the trans shifter

2.Seats

The seats are waaayyy comfy, but the are too damn tall. My head rubs the top of the cab.

THE FIX: Cut the brackets and drop them down as much as possible.

I already figured out how to get the 8-way to work but I'm going to have to go back to the yard where they came from and rob the heat button. The heat has 4 wires that work it so I need the multi-switch to make it work.

Need t-case parts?

Looks like it is starting to come together. Good luck with getting the Tranny and T-Case to fit correctly

Looks pretty mean. What kind of bumper are you going to run up front so it wont interfere with the 42's?

Here they are(they will be standing up)

I hope not!!! Id ÅÅÅÅ my pants if I saw this coming up behind me on the highway. Your doing some really great work over there. Really good choice in keeping the cab, just make it look so bad ass. I can't wait to see this truck in person. Ill be up there sometime for that long lost bumper we were talking about Keep up the good work!

I like the hood scoop. What is it off of? Ebay? How hard was it to make it look right?

Hood scoop is a secret! Yes the truck will be "legal" It is only 27" to the frame rail...so it sits real low for what it is. The Diff's are currently 4.10(cause I got a R151F and a 3.4) but in the future will prob go to 4.88

OK...got new coil-over hoops now...It turns out that my coil-overs sit at 34" at ride height 5.5" up travel in the rear (I don't think I really need anymore as of yet but that may change soon)

BEFORE

AFTER

The coil-overs are going to be mounted to the inside of the hoops and I'm going to cut and notch some tube to attach the hoops to the outer rail so it has some more support there also

what spring rate and size coils do you have?? i am 250# 16"/250# 16" coils on 16" stroke shocks and at ride height mine are 34" also, i have 8.5" of uptravel (which i think is about 4" too much) I am thinking of lowering the mount and getting 1 shorter coil (250# 14") for each top side.

mine use a 3.0" coil and they are 18" travel I haven't decided on what rate I'm going with just yet....waiting to see what the ass of this bit*h is gonna weigh first...probably not a whole lot but I gotta take into consideration spare parts(haha) weight, rear winch, fuel cell, and what the tubing weighs
