Sounds like the Flu or food poising. Neither one is fun, take care and rest up. You'll have to work twice as hard not to make up for lost time JK.

I've been watching this thread for a while. Awesome buildup!

It's gotta be food poisoning, it's classic "two bucket" disease, where you puke in one bucket and ???? in the other. Sounds like salmonella to me, but I'm no doctor. Problem is with those, they always go away a little slower than they showed up

AWESOME build brother! This is the first time I have read through the whole thing (bored at work). Seriously, I have seen less descriptive stuff in books. Great job and good luck with the rest of it!

I think that I am just about over it now....it was just a virus from hell that I hope none of you get...I'm going to take it easy tonight and I'll be back in the shop tomorrow for the case cleanings and assembly of my "dummy case" and the start of a 4.7 case I am building for a guy

Mo' progress!...I got a case gutted tonight(finally) and I mounted it to the drivetrain. I started figuring the t-case x-member and the front suspension.

flat belly

I also got a 21-sp 4.7:1 case built for a guy in our group

I sell these if you are interested...$500 and your old case...there can be alot added to them if wanted too
21 or 23 sp 4.7:1 t-case $500 and your old case or a core charge
add 3x drilled flanges
add B Long 4340 output shaft
add MC HD shift springs
add Twin stick
add lowpro drain plug
add complete new bearings
add dual case adapter
and the list goes on...

Twin stick allows for 2wd low range...$200 to the price
$150 in price difference for the adapter plates The MC07 is a cast unclocked and the MC08R10 is billet and clocked 10* for a flatter belly...look at my pic and you can see that nothing hangs below the frame rail. Marlin is working on a cast version of the R10...it will be comparable in price to the mc07

This may be a stupid question but since I haven't seen it asked yet nor can I figure it out I wanted to know why your wishbone mount on top of your axle is offset to the drivers side? I am not a fabricator so please cut me some slack if there is some reason that I didn't think of. Great job on the buildup and thanks for all the great ideas; gives me something to dream about in my dull job. Hope you are feeling better.
