how is the build going. i got the 4,3 out of my s10 in, wierd up, all the hoses and every thank as fair as the motor ready to go. just not sure what transmission to use. what are you going to use for a transmission and transfer case?

Nice, waiting on the block and heads, playing with the 4runner for now. I'm using a th350 and toyota transfer case. it came for a toyota pickup that had a completely rusted frame. getting the work done on the block for free so I got it wait, no problem. The 4runner is getting a manual swap and it may get done first.

sounds good iam using a atlas transfer case just dont know what transmission to use dont want to pull it again like i did on my diesel swap. i can do any think with engines but transmission are my weak point. how is the 4 runner coming

That atlas sound good, I always like manual transmissions, but the V6 come with a TH-350 connect to a Toyota transfer case.

just checking on how the build is going on the 4.3. i just about have mine finished up had to take a brake for 2 week on it after braking my arm. and having that 4,400 droller er bill lol

Thanks redneckzombie21, heads will be going out early next week block should be right after...hope. Been working on the 89 runner. But will be going back to the 87 once the engine comes back fron the shop.......Sorry to hear about the arm, you know your should not take it out on the truck it always wins..lol

i go crazy if i dont get my heads or block back in a week. but if i was getting it done free i could wait lol

yea truck always wins but i dint do it work on my truck was trying to make some extra money after work and ended spending more money then i maid lol.

Yea, Vacuum Pump for the turbo and power brakes is acting up. 160$ for the replacemnt part, but ez to replace.....Bill

Hey Terry, no its a broken stem that plugs into the hose to the brake booster. I just got home from Work and look at the new piece. Diesel's have vacuum pumps. So I got something to do later today...

Push it out in the sun Sunday was cleaning up the garage a little, still waiting on the V6 to the shop, hopefully soon....lol did some work on the 89 4Runner and of course the TDI Jetta still having vaccum problems with hoses

Cleaning the garage is a never ending ordeal. Being able to at least push it around really helps get it out of the way. I have been there. Maybe it wont be long til you get it back.
