I decided on 66", leaves me room if I need to trim the fenders (or get wider ones). Now to find out how long they will take to build.

Nice truck, I think you should get some meatier tires.

Where did you find those Rally headlight guards? Been looking all over for some.

I found them on ebay. I've been thinking about making a couple sets from bulk material, I'll let you know if I go through with that.

I'll have a lot of extra mesh so I might be making multiple copies. Let me know if you are interested in one.

Testing out the new iphone camera!

Primer and paint has been picked up (cheapest powder coating was almost double the cost of the paint and materials), new grill is being planned today.

Bumper has been painted!

I picked up more paint and I am going to paint all the black plastic and trim the same color.

Quick poll/question.
I'm planning on painting the grill so it'll look better. I'm thinking white (with black mesh insert) or the same black as my bumper. Anybody have opinions as to what would look best? I'm thinking of trying white since it would be easy to paint over anyway.

Not sure, but are you putting on a winch?
That may make a diffence, however, your truck rocks....Bill

Took off the shell yesterday. I'm loving it without it, but I just don't have anywhere to store it , so it might have to go back on soon.

Sliders have been picked up, being painted this weekend, installed the weekend after maybe.

On another note:

Yah 200,000, time for fluid changes.

Got some practice putting vinyl on a brand new Camaro (ghost stripes, very cool), tricky stuff, but I'm very confident in my vinyl abilities now (tangent, but I do plan on adding some to my truck in the future).

Mini-me! I'm going to "fab" up some bumpers and sliders to match my truck and then use it to do mockups of what I would like to do (just need to lower it and find scale versions of my tires ha ha).

Little toy and big toy, in my early days I would buy a model of the vehicle and do mods then do it to the full size. Now I only have time for the big model...lol. Nice job....

On another note I'm finally painting my sliders this weekend. I hope to have them on by next weekend.
