your truck being a 91 4wd seems to differ quite a bit. my 3 sets of cast manifolds, and the un modded tube ones were not remotely close to clearing. both kinds dumped directly on the rails to the point the engine would not be able to sit down in the mounts completly. plus your truck appears to have a body lift. you also have a newer 4.3 that may differ in manifold design a little

 

Mine does have a body lift, but that would not affect the location of the engine to the frame. the manifolds may have differed from older engines, but the engines themselves are all the same, so it is possible that a newer manifold would work on an older engine. Now the frame itself may differ slightly from older to newer model trucks, giving mine a bit more room.

Your project is looking great and the exhaust work looks really good. I like those style couplings use to connect the manifolds to the pipes. Its a shame you had clearance issues with the hood, but nice to know it was fixable.
