Mudd Duck 1's '94 pickup build thread

I've been meaning to do this for some time now. Just finally got the time to. So after selling my baby (my 95 4runner) I bought my '94 extra cab

When i bought it:

After my custom winch bumper originally made for my 4runner (i must add i made it from scratch as a senior in high school):

After tires:

And after finishing my bumper and adding my offroad lights:

After installing my Kenwood deck (its a rather old model sooner or later I plan on getting a newer one) my Kenwood 600 watt amp (pretty loud for 600 watts) and my Kicker L7 in a vented box

Got my windows tinted the other day with 15% by a local car audio shop:

In this picture they look extremely dark but you can actually see the person inside fairly well. This is legal in Oregon.

And from the inside:

I've seen the auto 4 all the way back to 89 in the pickups and 90 in 4runners depending on how high option they are. Lucky me this particular truck is just low option so I have manual hubs as well as manual windows, no A/C, 5 speed, no glove box lights etc. however I do have cruise control and intermittent wipers lol. It seems that in this year they considered the 4 cylinder to be low option, kind of funny considering it was the better engine IMO.

Also that's what I said "love that style grill" lol I really wanted 92 or newer (I believe that was the cut off) so that I'd have it.

How is that a lower option I would roll my own windows down and hold a flashlight into my glove box any day for a 22re. I guess they thought if you could pay the extra $$$ for the sr5 style model you could afford the gas of the 3.0 too. lol!

lol I think Toyota figured that the v6 was going to be a decent engine and that being a (in theory) superior engine it would go in the higher option vehicles. Again just my theory seeing as how I have yet to find a 4 banger with the SR5 package. But at the same time what if someone wanted the 4 cylinder for gas mileage but wanted the power windows etc.? I guess maybe you'd have to find one that someone special ordered?

I agree the dual whips do look cool lol. They don't really gain you much as far as getting out and receiving though maybe I'll just stick one on the other side to look good lol

I personally don't care for the firesticks either they look kinda cool but really aren't a very good antenna I'm hoping to buy my dad's Wilson 1000 with a mag mount eventually but at this point he hasn't got around to ordering his new one.
