Been managing to get small things done every night this week, and even got some major steps out of the way.

So far, what HAS been done:
-Old parts comlpetely removed (Including: old tie rods, old ball joints, old UCAs and LCAs, torsion bars, old shocks, old idler arm, old pitman arm, steering stabilizer, and old power steering box)
-old droop stops completely hacked and ground off
-shock hoops/ towers welded on
-TC Upper control arm brackets cleaned/painted and prepped and ready to be bolted on
-TC lower control arms prepped and bolted on
-Steering linkage bar cleaned, painted, and idler arm bolt hole drilled to 5/8"
-Upper control arm bolt hole on spindles drilled out to 3/4"

STILL TO DO:
-Figure out max droop and weld on new droop stops
-clean and paint old steering arms
-clean and paint all welds and frame
-Calculate coil spring rate at the local Fab shop
-order col springs
-install new power steering box and new high-pressure line
-install new brake lines
-bolt on all replacement parts: lower ball joints, extended tie-rods, pitman arm
-bolt on upper control arms, new T-100 cv axles, cleaned/ re-greased spindles
-..get my coil overs once they're completely done
-tighten everything down to spec
-bleed brakes and power steering
-bolt on tires
-alignment

Everything should be done in about 2 weeks >.<

But until then, heres some teaser pics! The linkage bar and OME stabilizer are only on the truck for the mock-up

Its killin me having the rig on jacks this long, but the finished result will be soooooooooooooooooooo awesome!

WOW, THAT'S ALOTTA DOOO'S AND DONE'S! LOL. Looking great! Oh, and NOOOOOOOOOO, I will not trade you my locker! hahaha. I need to clarify that, after cleaning up, ....I wasn't complaining, just stating what is most likely coincidence, but COULD be a factor... I mean, it's a bit more 'TUG' on things now, ya know? hahaa

Took the night off as far as working on the yota today. Instead I had to go help a certain ex-yota owner friend..who made the traitorous switch to jeep-owner status...but, friendship is more important than what someone drives. No worries though folks! I still give him a hard time for driving a "Heep"

And heres more pics of teasers, and parts:
Upper control arms prepped and ready to be bolted on, plus welded and painted shock towers.

now THESE are bolts! Upper control arm to spindle knuckle mounting bolts to be exact

THESE lil thingies are what nearly put me dead in the water...although....the runner has been running without one of these spacers on the driver side for quite a long time, dunno if it caused any major issues, but, I'd rather be safe than sorry ya know? Come to find out, they're called "spacers" and go over the splines on the end of the cv shaft, between the end of the spindle and c-clip. Really hard to find parts, and not available at ANY local parts stores, so they had to be ordered from a factory parts dealer

Aside from probably getting Moog brand lower ball joints at some point, and the coilover shocks, heres the last of the parts I ordered that I needed to finish the build: New C-clips to keep the cv's in the spindle, new spacers, and new o-rings for the locking hub selector. The old ring seals were destroyed and weren't doing they're job anymore.

Yeah, your welcome on the spacers! Anyway, where's these pics of the brake line routing over on the passenger side of the frame? And did you find the prop valve kit? I'm pretty sure it was FROR that I got it from.

The project came to a grinding hault recently, because 1.) The welding buddy took a vacation out of state, and 2.) The fab shop STILL hasn't gotten my coilovers yet, and we still have to tow the rig to the fab shop once the shocks DO come in so we can order the right coil springs...Shes at a stand still right now, but hopefully, will be finishing sometime in the next couple weeks. Everything else is pretty much done on the front suspension.

On a side note. I've decided to Enlist in the U.S. Army with the goal of going into the Rangers. Haven't signed anything yet, still gathering info and such. But Its only a matter of time before I go from civilian to soldier, and I'm really looking forward to it. The good news for you guys is the yota suspension upgrade should be completely done before I get sent off to boot, so no worries, I still have a lot of time. Felt ya'll should know though.

Alright guys, managed to get some pics of progress. Which isn't much really. Again, parts and getting the welding buddies free time is still holding everything up. BUT heres what I got so far:

As for the update on enlisting. I'm not sighing anything until september, but until then, I'm on a special forces workout routine at my the local crossfit gym which is kicking my butt, lol. 5 days straight of grueling workouts, but nothing I can't handle!

More work will get done this week as I start buttoning everything up in prep for the arrival of the coil overs. which as it turns out, were ready to ship a week ago, the fab shop told F.O.A techs to double check the shocks, and discovered they were put together wrong, so it took an additional few days to get shipped, and when they DID ship...the guys at the fab shop were (are still) out of town working some huge 4x4 event >.< but again, stil plenty to keep me busy. I'll have more pics soon guys!

Hurry up, I almost got 1 of my 2 rigs ready to go wheel! And don't worry, I'll take good care of your Runner while you're in boot camp. While you're at it, see if they need any helicopter crew folks...
