Matt's 93 3.0 buildup

Matt's 93 3.0 buildup
So, I've been a long time lurker, for around 2 years, and I've been trying to figure out what I would really like to do to my 93 Regular Cab 3.0. I've debated on 302s, debated on 1UZ-FE, and at one point even thought about boostin the 3VZE.
I finally made my mind, and decided that against everyone's opinion, I'm actually gonna build the 3.slow. Mines actually already pretty stout, and I've had no problems out of it, since I've owned it. The original owner (my aunt) replaced HGs and replaced the whole motor once, but it was because she hauled a Bayliner across a big mountain to the lake with it every weekend. Then gave the truck to my big brother, who proceeded to side pipe it, and put a CAI on, but then ran the motor dry and spun the main rod bearing. (Completely unrelated to the 3.0 notion that it will die.) Current motor has 70xxx miles on it, truck has 343xxx as its my DD.
Mods so far:
CAI
Custom sidepipe with custom built muffler
Blocked EGR
Mods I want:
Cams and valves
Crossover delete instead of headers
Full custom exhaust
At some point bore and stroke
Intake manifold spacer
Bigger throttle body
Maybe a new ECU
Would like to put some sort of hotter ignition
I've had no reason to put bigger tires, don't really have the money either. But it came stock with 4.56 gears, so I don't need to change gearing, and I don't want bigger tires. All I want to do to the truck is fix the major hole in the bed where the stock exhaust rusted off, paint it the stock color, and then make it go fast. I'm planning on camming it next summer, and I would really like to know of anybody else out there that has modified the 3.0 and how much power they really got out of it. I have no HP or torque goal, I would really just like it to perform better, and run better. I'd like to get some new ideas and see what y'all think.
I know everyone will tell me not to even try to help the 3.slow, but honestly I love the truck, I love the motor, and I love the sound. It's my truck, and I'm leaving the 3.0 in it period. Don't try to sell me on another motor, or tell me that in wasting my time with it. You're just wasting your time telling me not to.
I'll put some pictures up tomorrow, just got a new phone and have no pictures of my truck yet.

Here's a few pictures of "Rusty" as we call her. As of now I have a bed for her at home, but it's red so I need to work on it and at least primer it before I put it on my truck, just so it don't look like a Christmas tree. 😂
Under the hood needs a good cleaning and some paint, but that'll come after the rebuild.
