That is an awesome truck man. I also have a 92 extra cab with the same engine/tranny. I also need to clean my TB and IACV. Even on hot days when I start the truck it idles at around 1500 rpm before the engine temp rises. What/how did you clean them both?

Thanks man! Cleaning the throttle body isn't too hard just clamp the coolant lines and pull them off. Then remove the throttle cables and take the throttle body off the intake. You'll have to remove the four screws and the cover to get at the IAC valve. I think I just used some throttle body cleaner and sprayed everything down and then scrubbed it with an old toothbrush. Just make sure and install the throttle body with a new gasket so you don't get any air leaks.

Well finally found some time to update, at the beginning of summer I went up Farmington Canyon here in Utah. Found some fun forest roads to explore and some great scenery
Unfortunately after this excursion I noticed that the passenger seal on my front diff decided to die. Not too surprised that it did after 184,000 miles, but it was a real pain to get at.
Even my wife thinks the rusted out, bent up rear bumper is ugly so I decided to buy myself a little present this summer
So I could make this
Here's how it sits now, all tacked up and ready finish welding
Still need to machine out the D-ring brackets, cannibalize the old hitch, and get some tubing to beef up the mounting to the frame, but I'm loving it already.
