so far, they're great. i haven't heard many people complain about them. i like the adjustment feature, but it was either too soft or too hard. now i can change them from in the cab. although, they are stiffening up now that it's colder outside. i'll post some more info later in the week about their ride quality

here's a vid of how the system works:

That's a pretty cool setup. Can you really tell a difference with the amount of adjustment you can make? Also what is that noise in the video? It was killing me while watching it.

yeah, there's a difference. there's one stretch of (poorly) patched road, so i got to test it out. last week, i had it on setting 1-1 for a smooth ride. last night it was at 9-9, and it hurt going over that patch. i've tried every combination and you can feel a slight difference. you won't notice it much from one setting to the next, but every 2 or 3 settings you can feel it.

that noise is the auto-focus. i didn't hear it when i was recording. in retrospect, i should have set it to manual focus. sorry 'bout that

thanks! i try to keep the corrosion away, so i'll see how it goes this winter
it is very cool. i want to measure what the pressures are and see if i can't rig up something a bit more permanent.

oh, i forgot to mention. the my-ride system was free

OOhhhh NICE! Gotta love free! I was measuring for new front shocks last week and ended up throwing my originals - Yes 1986 ORIGINAL shocks in the trash. They where shot & too short for my BJ spacers anyways. How do you like the Rancho's? Are they extended length? I notice your sig says 2" lift, BJ spacers I assume?

haha, no. just aal's and cranked t-bars. but from where it sat before, it's about 2" of lift. and the ranchos are just normal length. a bit shorter, actually...

yeah, lot$ of $tuff there. i like the "go-baby-go" shifters. but it's probably cheaper if i just bought a custom panel and added the switches myself. also, i'm not a huge fan of the "armed missile" switches. i try to keep everything the same. right now, i have a fog light switch in the mail that looks like an oem switch. i also have a rear defrost switch that i'll probably use for the heater in the bed

now that you mention it, bj spacers and a 1" diff drop wouldn't be too hard or expensive...
hmmmm...

And don't forget that you can relax your torsion bars for a nicer ride.

my thought exactly. sitting up higher is nice, but it's rough. maybe i'll get to it in the spring (when it's warmer)

found some mustang seats on craig's list. the guy wouldn't sell just the front ones, so i ended up with the whole set (front 2 and the rear) for $150. i'm probably picking them up this weekend

yeah. i can't wait to see how well (or if) they'll fit. i've searched around, but all i can fine is someone posts something like "i've heard mustang seats fit. anyone know for sure?"

i will be taking pics, and i'll let everyone know how (or if) i got them to fit
