Traction Bar Test

Traction bar setup

Had to double up the DOM on the front end of the traction bars, my first launch i bent them both so i straightened them back out and pounded a bigger DOM tube over the smaller one and problem solved!

Here's a pic of my runner in front of my dodge.

Here's some pictures of my last 4runner and my current one is taller than this one by at least 4 inches.

I went with a J.E. Reel RCV hybrid shaft pretty much on prototype status right now thats why it cost so much. Its smaller and stronger than a 1350 CV and has a 45 or 50 degree working angle. Im sitting right at 32 and that is max for a 1350 CV. My rear is a Tom woods 1350 CV long travel shaft.

Well i just ordered these in 17x8 and 17x14

along with these

and these

Hope your semi happy Fink.
Thought about doing paddles on all 4's which would be bad ass but very power consuming. Plus i cruise with windows down and I would be in a constant shower of sand. Soo Mohawks up front and scoops in the rear!
One step closer to ultimate throw down 4runner style at Glamis!

Guess you wont be needing that drive shaft you've got for sale then, may as well package it up and send it over to the east coast :-) sure would be a nice Christmas present for a guy hoping to sas in the next year or so....

Haha jk man, be safe overseas!

Min is in the front of the engine. I had to run a short water pump and a pusher electric fan meaning the fan goes in front of the radiator. I used a Howe Racing aluminum radiator i got off summit that fits perfect in the core support. I did have to make my own brackets to mount it in the stock bolt holes. I used a 16" flexalite slimline fan. I run AC also and it has never got hot. I did mount my tranny coolers in the back with their own fans to keep the heat off the radiator. Ill try to dig up some pictures as soon as i can.

Well its been awhile, just lettin you guys know ive settled in Korea. Definitely not a vacation spot. On a good note you can still get cj-8's that were built in the mid-90's over here. Kia, hyundai, daewoo are the big 3 over here. No wheeling in sight, imagine new york city in the area of indiana with a tad bit bigger parks. Hope everything is goin good back stateside.

Well I have 60 days until I am back in the states! Now that I have had time to think about it, and save more money I am going to go in a slightly different direction with it.

I am going to lower it down and either link it with Kings or run 5" alcan springs with orbit eyes and revolver shackles. Linking would be cool and I am leaning towards it, but still a more expensive route. By the way my fox 2.0 resi's will be going on sale as well.

I bought a set of 5 18x9.5 allied monster bead locks and they are waiting in Colorado at my buddies house. I got a smoking deal on them and couldn't resist.

I have been talking to Matt at BCC and they are going to build me one of their badass plate metal bumpers with tire carrier.

Also have a fuel injection conversion in the works and an interior cage as soon as I find a good fab shop in Missouri.
