Well i got more done...

This is my new fuel pickup, its at least double the size of the factory main line. Everything else is -8AN fittings with stainless braided line.

Transfercase cross member is complete, used a 4cyl cross member with a GM poly trans mount and a little modifications.

Runner at the exhaust shop getting dual 3" headers back, has an h-pipe and 40 series flowmasters.

loaded up gettin ready to head back to Colorado.
Ill finish the rest of it back in Colorado.
I think for 3 weeks of work we got pretty far in this build, we did get to run it and as soon as i find out how to get the huge video online ill share.

thanks for the comments guys. Ive been busy wiring, got all the engine done and its fires on the key now. Front e-locker is all wired up and working. Lookin for the right sending units, got new ones from autozone and wiring everything but the oil press. pegged out and i could see smoke coming from the guage inside the instrument cluster (pretty sure its fried). Still waiting for my rear disc brake brackets. Need to get the brake lines, driveslines and radiator made. Waiting for my cowl hood. Hopefully ill be back up and running next week.

well i should get my new drivelines and radiator on friday. went with 1350 cv's front and rear, had the front one machined to get some more angle out of the cv. Radiator is gonna be a HOWE aluminum racing unit, its a chevy setup that drops right in to the toyota spot but uses the added room of the body lift. I have to swap out the instrument cluster to a cable driven speedometer since there is no way to adapt the 4runner vss to the atlas. Im hoping to get it up and driving next week so i can go beat on it and find out whats gonna break.

Looks awesome dude - sweet video.

Some tube bumpers, sliders and a roof rack with some lights on it would really top it off.
Oh, and some black wheels still...

Well its been alittle while since i updated anything. Soo, Got the brakes plumbed but im still fighting a mushy pedal. Got the fox shocks mounted. Radiator is mounted and plumbed, guy burned a pin hole in the tank so now it weeps coolant (FML). Took it for a spin around the neighborhood. Axle wrap is horrible but i kinda figured it was gonna be. Front shaft didnt work, angle is too steep. Have to get an 60 degree ordered. Got my cowl hood and everything fits under the hood now. powersteering leaks, oil pan leaks, and the back of the intake leaks. Fixed all but the intake. Torque converter that i thought was going to be fun to drive isnt at all! Definitely need a lower stall. Reverse valve body with no coast band in the trans isnt that cool either. Ill end up building another one. The carb is jetted for sea level so it hates it here in colorado. Jet kit in the mail. Ill post up a video and pictures shortly.

Havent flexed it out yet, still trying to get it to run right. Having major carb issues and my badass tom woods front shaft wont work. Not sure if a custom piece from AZ driveline is gonna work either. Still need a cable shifter setup for my atlas. Trans is leaking past the selector shaft seal. Brake pedal goes half way to the floor and is really spongy. Rear end is trying to do backflips when i get on it. Need to build some traction bars.

Well it seems like you've got plenty on your plate to get it all finished up. Nice work so far! Looking forward to more updates.

I don't want to bash that guy's company but my friend has gotten four drive shafts from there and they were all junk.

I havent given any updates in a while soo... I got my front shaft figured out. Been talkin to Jim at J.E. Reel and found out about their new RCV hybrid shaft. Only about $1100 but it fits my needs and J.E. Reel make some bombproof shafts. I finally built traction bars, took some land rover front control arms and mounted them on top of the rear axle and then made a shackle setup so i dont run into a binding issue. This thing launches incredibly hard now! Been messing with the brakes still cant get them right. think the master cylinder might have air in it. Need to re valve the shocks, they are very stiff but they do work very well. Other than that everything else is still holding up. Still need to convert to fuel injection. I rebuilt the carb completely which helped my running issue greatly but im still not happy with it. It was never meant to be in anything that see's angles so i find a hotrod guy that wants it. Ill post up more pictures once i get my camera back.
