Looks good. I am hoping to make a bumper like that for my 93 when I get the chance. Something simple with function

no, it was done waaaaay before i got it. whoever did do it made sure to swap the narrow rear axle and factory push/pull steering on as well. got the steering situated with tg crossover. i do know that you have to cut off all the ifs junk on the frame and its a good idea to brace the frame up for the steering and that the steering box has to be moved forward. ya might check out the sas forum to get better answers. put up pics of your rig when its done.

Super nice truck man, looks real good. How hard was it to build the bumpers? Looking to do something with the same type of tube in the back.

thank you. i made the front bumper out of plate steel. its a mix of 1/4", 3/16", and 1/8". it has gusseting inside for the military shackles too. the rear bumper was actually on it when i got the truck, but it is just plain'ol 2"x2" square tube cut to desired length and welded to "c" channel that bolts to the frame so the whole thing is removeable. if you want any specs , pics, or measurements feel free to ask.
