i like the narrower tires like the 10.50's
wish they made a 35 or 37" 10.50 without having to go to a 17" rim
yea, i always LOVED my 33x10.5 KO1s on my old runner. they wore sooooo well. and aired down to 10PSI nicely. only thing that im worried about is going out to Pismo and having them dig down instead of float.

They still work out there, I have lost a bead tho. 33x10s tend to not like turns at speed when aired down in the sand. Other than that I had no issues nothing bead locks wont fix.
Haven't really done a whole lot since getting the tires. I got one of the Caribou cup holders and am in LOVE with it. Probably the single best mod I've done. I highly suggest that you get one if you don't use your ashtray. We also did the .22 shell casing trick to get the horn working again. Nice to have the anemic, wheezy honk back. Other than that it was just taking a trip to a little offroad area local to us.
I have a box of parts awaiting install including a bunch of rocker switches, custom speaker inserts for the back cubbies, a 0 gauge wiring kit to feed power to 3 amps and a power inverter, full LED light swap and a few other goodies. Stay tuned!

I am sure he would like to ,but I bet he is also enjoying the stressfree use of his/hers now usable 4runner. He finally has time to tinker with all the goodies and creature comforts that have been waiting patiently to be installed. On another note he still needs new leaf springs to go with the LT kit. All I know is he will make me quite busy when his suspension is cut off.

That's why he needs to buy the Protege from me again so he can have a daily driver to work on the 4Runner whenever he wants.

T00 axles, brake lines, rear brake lines, etc etc etc. Itll get there. Ive got one UCA mostly wire wheeled. those things are heavy trying to hold them at the stand mounted wire wheel. Currently ive been working on my car getting some little things done to it in preparation for a big west coast Mazda meet down in Coalinga. Spent a few hours last night working on wiring in my gauges. need to finish that tonight. and detail my car.

Yes, the stress free(for the most part) factor is pretty nice. still have the leak from the timing cover, but since i have to pull the front dif and oil pan to do that, im just going to knock it out at the same time as the LT install. Springs will come after that.

No. I didnt WANT to sell it, but its just too small for my family of 5. You know this. quit trying to play the guilt card.
FWIW, i know that there are not pics up above. I dont know why but, lately, every time i try to upload a pic to YT, it crashes out. Doesnt give me an error, just locks up and i end up losing my whole post and having to redo it. Ill keep trying, but im not holding out much hope.
@dropzone , any way you could message someone at IB to look into this?
Figured out the picture upload issue. Image size is capped at 10MB. which sucks, because even my old Samsung Galaxy s10+ takes most of its pics larger than 10 mb. lol. let alone Doomy's DSLR Nikon. hahaha.
anyways, here are the pics that have been missing.
Me modifying the push bar to get it to fir the bumper.
Caribou Double Cup Cup Holder. I HIGHLY recommend this! Very secure and mounts top where the ashtray used to be. they can be found HERE: https://caribouyota.bigcartel.com/pr...ibou-cupholder
The old .22LR shell casing trick.
Random pics from playing out at latrobe. was nice getting out to let the old girl flex a bit. been too long since weve been offroad!
Also forgot to add in that i got an LED whip ro replace the second antenna. need to get a new spriong for it tho, its already started tearing up the mount from the flag being on it.
Poser shot, nut i had to retake a few to match the pics in the beginning of the thread!
Love the views from out here.
The girls! <3<3<3
Theres some pretty off camber areas here off latrobe. this pic was taken after the truck settled a bit, but i can assure you that it was at a much steeper angle before hand. almost 25*
Peek-A-Boo!
Another pic to match the one from the first page of the build thread.
