hey all. I'm new to the site and wheeling. I'm 18 and live in utah, this rig is my daily driver weekend warrior! Almost a year ago I bought my first vehicle, my 3.0L 1988 4runner. picked it up for $900 with a 1.5" lift and it looked like this.

bought some cheap 33's mounted for $100

had a blow out...

added a front bumper and sliders

new tires and made quick release door hinges with quick disconnect wires for the power windows.

it is basically stock other than tires lift and cold air intake... no lockers or anything YET. I went with a group out wheeling and went on a really mild trail. Later, I was asked if I wanted to try a harder trail and hesitantly agreed with them saying with a good spotter I could do it. The video is the hardest spot on the trail and was told that being open diff front and rear that i would not make it. But, I gave it a try anyways.

thanks! there is a competition in utah in may that i want to compete in. Old school rock crawl. But, it requires a roll cage (which i do not have at this time) so my plans for this are a roll cage, lockers front and rear, beefier axle shafts in the rear, racing seats with 4 point harnesses, SAS, and dual transfer cases. I hope to do it all before may. But, with it being my daily driver I doubt i will do the SAS and dual cases.
