Complete 2WD Rear Ax Swap Possible? 1983 to 1994
My 1994 2WD stock pickup axle is making noise.
I have spotted a 1983 2WD truck with a good axle.
Will these complete housing assemblies swap directly with no modification ?

the gearing might be different and the axle perches will be too. The overall width should be different as well. Just find another diff to swap in or id your actual problem and fix it. it can only be a few things in the rear end. diff making noise, axle bearings, possible u-joint.
