Just waiting for the ubolts to come in, should be here monday and Evo should be done this week too. Once ubolts come in can get the leafs in and just about done for now

THink I'm keeping the truck for next winter and work. Gonna do anything I can fairly cheap this summer to help it out. suggestions ?

youd be amazed on what these little guys bring...... but the 22re is one of the best motors toyotas ever built keep that in mind, your supposed to not have any slack in your timing chain, do a timing chain and youll be done for good, maybe even a headgasket, those r also known to fail, is this a 5 speed or auto? if auto get rid of the trans cooler mounted to the rad.

Yeah I'm thinking I'll just fix it. I only drive it in the winter anyways. But I did order all the stuff for the timing chain. It's a 5 speed.

Got it all apart yesterday and the timing chain was indeed really lose, even broke one of the plastic guides. Glad that it was what I thought. Should be a lot better this year now. I hope...

All new.

For the tail gate and fenders? Yeah just some red I found that was pretty close match.

Nice progress on your truck!! i bought mine for 900 bucks.... So i can appreciate the budget build. i think the timing is supposed to be 5* BTDC with the jumper wire in place in the diagnostic ports. Good luck keep up the good work!!
