I have lurked and watched threads for several years but the only forum I actually post on is Marlin. Now I have a little 87 2WD and figured I would start a thread for it here

I have only had it a few weeks and I am in the tune-up, clean-up and make bearable for daily driving phase

First thing I did was rip out the seat cover to find a decent seat underneath..

Ripped out the nasty old stereo!

Needed to replace the heater control face plate and put a clock in...

Then took off the old man canopy





I have some other parts on the way for the interior re-work...
After I get the interior in a little better shape and the engine tuned up I will start on cosmetics.

 

Almost have all the parts for my interior upgrade

 

Got some maintenance done on the truck today.
Changed oil
Cap and rotor
Plugs and wires
Flushed coolant
Replaced output shaft seal
Added some clean trans fluid

 

It's looking great so far. I would love ot buy a little 2wd yota one of these days.

 

Thanks andlours, I needed a daily driver.. I love my runner but I cant keep putting the miles on the MTR's and soft suspension!
