No they came with the trail gear kit i have them tacked right now so i can set the rear pinion angle.

 

Ive been trying to find mounts for my chevy axel the only ones i can find are 2 inches shorter than the factory

 

Whered you mount the in cab controls? Im in the process of doing the same thing.

 

I dig it. I am looking at doing this myself maybe later this year. I can't wait to see how the stance turns out once you roll it out and the springs settle a little.

Does any one know if i can switch the power steering lines that go between frame the frame rails at the bottom of my radiator to soft lines instead of hard?

 

You could but the hard lines act as coolers for the fluid. On the 4cyls they used a looped piece of hard lin
e but on the v6 the hard lines you speak of take care of that.

Ok so if i make these lines soft lines nothing bad will happen? can i run it through the auto trans cooler part of the radiator?

I like the idea...Just make sure the lines and radiator can handle the psi of the pump. The stock pump puts out about 1300 psi @ 1 Gal per min.

reading about all the sas's makes me feel more comfortable about buying an IFS and later doing the swap. lets see some pics of it after it has settled a week and flexed a little. Still hoping to find a nice 85 ex cab

If i built another i would start with a 88 3.0 extra cab 2wd and put a 3.4 in it but that's just dreams haha i gotta get this one done first.

I will run anythinng from a 35-39 thats what the plan is but as of right now 33's haha

If anyone was wondering that is a 1996 Tacoma 4wd grille and it fits good with a little work and my front axle is 4" forward with a wheelbase of 126"

 

I was going to ask what did u have to trim to get it to fit

 

There was just a little trimming of some supports off the grille and the black corner things that are under the head lights but i already had my mechanic tell me he wants to put that grille on his truck.
