Figured I would give a quick update on the truck. I have been driving the new 5vzfe for over a year now and have had no problems, lots of road trips and some weekend off roading!

I had a friend of mine fabricate a plate bumper for me this spring and I am more than impressed with the quality and solidity of the bumper. The winch has been put to use a few times and the piaa led fog lights make a big difference when driving down back country roads watching for game.







And now for the solid axle... I picked up a 85' axle a couple months back. I haven't decided what setup I'm going to run at this point, so I think I will enjoy daily driving my IFS until I'm confident about the swap. In the mean time I will rebuild the axle!

That's a great looking bumper! Nice score on the axle. An SAS'd truck makes for a nice DD truck as well.

I really love the look of your truck. Really makes me want another one.
