anybody have $600 i can borrow?!

 

well i got the rear axle mostly rebuilt, going to be putting it up for sale, along with my spare rims, leaf springs, and possibly some other junk i got laying around.

got some rear springs for free that arent so saggy.


when i tore apart the rear i found pieces of blown gears. checked the diff, the diff is good, you can tell its been opened up and re sealed, so they must have blew the rear end and threw a different diff in it. yada yada, wire brushed and cleaned the axle, then hit it with a few coats of paint.

found a good deal and picking up an 85 front housing, difff, and inners in a few hours, gonna use that for my sas, and either sell the 83 front housing or keep it for when my brother finally gets ready for his sas.

i'm going to put all my parts on craigslist and see what i get offered for it

 

well, im trading my front axle for front and rear bumpers, and sliders, made how i want

gonna be getting some LED blinkers and mounting them in the grille most likely

well my neighbor ended up scraping his runner so i got all his nice interior for me and my brother!

 

well i ended up getting;
A whole dash, with one little crack
sr5 cluster
heater core
a nice inclinometer
brake booster
nicer sun visors
grab handle
4runner side plastic pieces
map light

and most of all im stoked about;
dome light cover!
and rear seat delete!


but i got my brother;
a grille
headlights
corner lights
hood




all for $75

 

and on a side note, he is out of town for a few weeks so i'll have to wait for my rear bumper, i'm thinking about talking him into a swingout tire gate.

 

now just to swap all that stuff in ha

 

just got the map light left, not sure if i want to put it in yet.

well, went wheeling pretty much all day with brandon and andrew, no pictures . kept bumping brandon and bent the stock bumper tabs, looks like time to weld my front bumper on....
