Another long term 95 resurrection
Needing to start a thread so I can post pics - and not loose them again.
For now this will be totally out of sync.
Basic premise was a 95 auto, that I had bought a 94 with a 3VZE to toss in. It was junk, so some years later (2 yrs ago now), bought a wrecked 99 and am trying to freshen the 3.4, etc. Slow going because I re-invent the wheel alot, forget what I did, loose stuff, the normal. Usually work on it maybe 3 -5 days a month on days off. Those that have them know grandkids take priority.
(having device problems. pics later)

Starter solenoid wiring
A new post, and legit question. Plus try to put up a pic to explain Q.
Rather than running the starter solenoid wire all down EB2 back into the cab, thru IH1, then return on the engine harness (using existing wires); as the 99 harness has the solenoid wire come from the driver side, why can't I just tie into the relay cable near the JB2, on the wire, and just have a rather short(er) cable down to the starter on pass side?
I will keep the wire to EB2 and IH1 for the COR, but would I not be ahead by not having to run the current all the way back around for the starter?
Edit: Whoa. Ginormous image. Sorry. Won't kill it with 5vz schematic (which is just switched load side of relay direct to starter).
