'94 daily driver/trail build

Hey guys, just picked up an all original base '94 with 59,000 original miles on it. It's the 2wd one. Anyways, I'm looking to daily drive it to keep miles off my new Tacoma, but want to slowly build it into something I can take to the desert, maybe a mid travel setup? Don't need anything too crazy, and wondering what you guys recommend for a budget build.

Make a 3 link front end for sas and 4 runner rear end to match gears and link it

I'm guessing you plan on keeping it IFS and 2wd? If so a long arm kit or bracket lift and just some 31's would be a nice setup for a DD. Maybe a locked rear end and some 4.88's. You could do that all for pretty cheap and still keep it very streetable.

What is cheap for a long arm IFS setup?

I personally think investing in the lockers, front and back, will go a lot further than a long arm setup. For clearance, and budget, it will be cheaper to do a mix of body lift, suspension lift (followed by at least 31's) and 'tummy tuck' or drivetrain lift. This does add up to be a bit of work, but it's really cheap as long as you are doing the labor part.

What differential gear ratio do you have? I guess best way to go forward is find a 4x4 version of your truck to swap out all of the 4x4 parts. Look for a gear ratio of 4.88 so you dont have to re-gear for larger tires.
