Well i hate a little bit of an update. I found out tonight that my truck came with 4.10 gears. And the axle I picked up has 4.10 gears. So thats good news for me so maybe I wont buy a kit and just go a tad cheaper for now then once I'm ready buy bigger tires and add more lift later down the road.

But I have one question for ya'll out there that have a sas. What length leaf springs do the kits come with? I think I'm gonna keep the truck low and i got a lot of different lengths of springs here at the house. But i wanna use the same length as the kits so when I do lift it and use like trail gear springs I won't have to modify the mounts any. Thanks

Hey thanks! I need to update with some pics I've kinda been slacking. Anyways I think I finally made up my mind on what I'm gonna get for the sas. I'm gonna get wabbits kit then go junkyard diving for some 63 Chevy's. I've read a lot of good things about those springs. But for now I'm still awaiting funds to pull the trigger on the ifs delete. Hopefully I'll have the kit soon. My plan is to run 33's possibly 35's if I can find a deal on some. And run 5.29 gears. I don't ever wanna have to regear again and the fastest I go is 55. So that should work hopefully within the next month I'll have the kit.

Oh! Also I ordered a 16 inch led bar off of eBay its just a cheaper Chinese one but it comes with a 2 year no questions asked warranty so I figured I'd try it out. I'll be mounting it on the front bumper pretty excited about it.

So I've got a couple updates nothing special and real exciting but I cut and painted the piece below the front bumper then I painted the roll bar and the diamond plate bed side tops black I think it looks better. Oh I also put on led bar on its pretty nice. Not as far as long distance though as I thought. Here's some pictures though.

I went to pull a part today. I went for two doors so I can make half doors unfortunately even tho they had four which surprised me and 3 of them have only been there 2 weeks one was only 2 days. I was only able to get one door. They had 3 regular cabs and the door I got was the only one left and its in perfect shape. But i still need one... oh well I'll find one sometime.

Extended cab doors will not fit Correct does anyone know? If they do then i can get another one here very shortly.

Well another update. I finally ordered my sas kit late Monday. Pretty excited about it. Hopefully I'll get it and be able to put it in before the first weekend of September. Got a offroad event I wanna go to. I haven't gone the past couple months bc we've been busy but i hope all works out.

Well I'm going wheeling again next weekend at southington offroad I can't wait and well my kit should be here soon. But i'm gonna put that off until after next weekend bc the past two months we had stuff come up and i don't think I'll have enough time to put the axle in by then.

But anyways I was looking over my truck last night everything seems tight I need to put my t case skid/mount in before next weekend but I also plasti dipped my front grille and i think it looks sweet. More to come!!

Upload the pictures to photobucket. Then copy the IMG link to your post here on yotatech. I do it all the time from my phone. Photobucket is a free app and really useful
