Just picked up a sr5 93 5spd runner
Looking at making a solid trail fox out of it

Thanks man it came from Montana so it didn't get the abuse of the rust belt.
As far as tire size no smaller that 31"
And ideally for the trails it seems 33"
Are the usual. The terrain will be mostly rocky woodlands with pleanty
Of water and mud .

Update
First modification was before I take this rust free 4Runner out I wanted to protect the undercarriage . So I painted the bottom with Ppg black enamel 2x
Then went over the whole thing again with some dynatron rubberized coating
Masking!! The fun of anticipation
Helps to have a buddy with a lift! Thanks George Giles!
Before
After
After
I just kept away from the motor and covered the exhaust

Nice looking runner you have. Seems like all the Missouri Yota guys are up north. Blackening the underneath gives it a clean look and sure it will help with rust prevention. Welcome to Yotatech.

And the Yota girl, too! Awesome how your truck is so clean underneath! Check out mo4wd.com for a few outings, like stocker no locker (not always stock and not always no locker ), usually in the fall.
