Yeah we went to Moab. I'll be heading back there again. Went on a Dan Mick Guided Heep Tour. I had a blast there.

I have a pretty sweet picture on that trail. Sarah had to get out a few times and watch. For the one photograph I'm talking about she couldn't even watch. She gave the camera to one of Dans daughters and ran off.

I liked that dude. Seems to be a good guy. He has a bad ass workshop/storage garage too.

Alright, now that the fiance has flown back to the oil patch I can dick around with trucks and pc games again. So busy with her around doing stuff it's hard to fit everything in on top of a full renovation....

I bought a shop hoist and an engine stand so I can bring that engine home tomorrow!!!!!

How do I get the engine on the stand? I'll be doing it alone but I've had a lot of lifting experience in mining and this is so tiny really as long as I do what I know is proper I should be sweet.

Maybe I'll test lift my axles a couple of times that are in my driveway to familiarise myself with a new and potentially dangerous tool.

I'll also get more photos up when I mess around more on my PC this afternoon. The shed isn't cleaning itself out for new parts so I'm off to it.

Tease photo~

There's Dan!

This is also just about to be the first time my XRC-8 Smitty Bilt winch failed. I hate it. It's a piece of ˟˟˟˟ and could have gotten me killed the second time it failed. Hell if I had flopped the the driver side that could have been me done right there.

Uploading the last of my trip photos.

I got some cool wildlife shots in Yellowstone I think. They could have been cooler though but those big lenses are really pricey.

Note to everyone, weddings and renovations are expensive....... If you want your truck built quickly don't do either one of those and especially not both at the same time.

I've been parts collecting and bought a frame. The frame is clean beyond belief. When I put my fingers in the frame rails holes it's still all smooth inside.

A perfect candidate for cutting up and galavanising.

Awesome news brother! And by the way, are you on Instagram? You gotta follow and I'll follow you... You have about a year of material to share and Richard & I have posted several pictures of you, your lovely wife and your truck killing it in Big Bear! Lol. My name there is the same as here. Chefyota4x4. ... Great news on the frame and marriage never-ending renovations! Lol. Wish you the best brother!

No I'm not on those. I barely use Facebook.

Is it like a phone app or something? That would be neat. I don't use my phone to its potential at all. I use it as a phone and map really.

Renovations will be never ending in my future it looks like. Wedding, just once though. She likes me and I'm not letting that one get away and I sure as hell am not going anywhere.

I really miss wheeling. So much so we had a pretty bad and stupid event happen on a deactivated road in my F150. Got stuck in a snow drift for 7 hours a couple weeks ago. No shovel, no telling anyone....... Pure stupid.

We unburied ourselves with a smoothie cup and a stick. We found the ice scraper for the last hour and a half of digging. I high centred the truck COMPLETELY. We had to get under and dig it out as well as a trench.

Beautiful sunny day in June and we are stuck in snow on a mountain top...... I thought if I gunned it I could make it. Got within 5 ft of the far side.

The road to get there was also scary, Sarah cried. In my defence it was her idea.

Sarah had the start of frost bite on her fingers from digging. I got some on my knees from being in shorts. We where soaked AND had sunburns. Got home about midnight to our own bed though.

Dude I have been away from yotatech for a couple of months. And today i had seen an expedition vehicle on the freeway which reminded me about you and your wife Sarah. Thought id drop by and see how your trip went. Looks like you hit up a ton of locations on your trip down here to the US. Just spent the last couple of hours checking out all the pages i haven't seen and i'm amazed at a lot of the places you went to. This is all in our country and i don't think I've ever driven a couple hours away. You and your trips are definitely an inspiration to me. Some day i would like to do the same thing. i would really like to check out Canada some time. You pix are phenomenal. Keep taking pictures man. Hope all is well with you two.

Things are going pretty good. I go to the pool and gym a lot so my back is healing nicely and the paid for beer gut is going away. Too much good living and not enough excersise these last few years in the mines.

I've got more photos to go up. I've really dropped the ball in this thread.... So much going on.

How is school going?

Wow, not been here in ages.

I popped in to share this.

Mint 87 4Runner for sale in Wyoming.

My truck is on the back burner for awhile yet. Starting your own business is time consuming. We miss wheeling and will be getting things together to put her back together for a 3rd time in the coming months.

Until then have a good one fellas!
