yeah, definitely diggin' it!
very inspirational. buggy is much more practical than a SAS rig with nice sheet metal. need to have something that i can stick any family member behind the wheel and feel confident they will be safe if it rolls...and not be butt hurt if it smashes some sheet metal. i had the idea of doing something with a RAV4 body due to the small size and because I like the way they look (the older ones - see project "wood-tick" on pirate) -- but the chopped 4runner has me thinking otherwise and would likely be easier since it's not a unibody...and i see non-runners with blown 3.0s all the time for good prices. also considering doing something very similar with an 80-series cruiser, since it's already got a solid axle. i think a 4runner rear window spliced onto a Cruiser just might have enough width to allow it to roll down too.....
