Quick update: Since buying Ben, I knew that the Iroks were going to have to go. It is a bit sad because I love the way Iroks perform in our PNW terrain, but I needed something that had better road manners. I still have my beadlocks from my previous trucks, so I figured I would put a nice radial 37 on those wheels. After shopping around, I decided to try out Kanati Mud Hogs in 37x12.50R17. The tires were delivered last Thursday and they look impressive! Here they are compared to my almost new 36x13.50x15 bias Iroks:

I ended up selling my 36" Iroks and Street Classic II Mickey Thompson wheels to a buddy, got my old Iroks and beadlocks back, and picked up a new quad all last weekend. To be honest, I'm more excited about the quad! I scored a 2007 Grizzly 700 EPS Ducks Unlimited Edition for a killer deal.

My next step is to rip off my old Iroks, repaint the beadlock wheels, mount the Kanatis, and have them all balanced up. This combo should work very well on the road and I'm hoping that I don't loose much off-road performance.

Got the wheels all painted up. The rock rings didn't come out quite as well as I hoped, but they are going to get beat up anyway. LOL! Now I just need to mount the tires up...

Thanks! I had a buddy locally cut the rings for me and basically made me a DIY beadlock kit. I welded them up and this will be the fourth rig that they have been on.

With the help of awesome friends, I got the tires on my beadlocks! I am super happy with how they turned out and will be getting them balanced on Saturday. Woohoo!

Well, I have been using photobucket since 2005 and they decided to start charging for 3rd party hosting... I guess it is a blessing that nobody actually likes this thread!

Here is a link to the new photo album. All the pics are there and mostly in the correct order. https://postimg.org/gallery/dzvql2xq/

Sorry for the lack of updates, guys. We have been busy setting up Ben's new home.

However, I did take him to DEQ yesterday to get new tags. He passed with flying colors and is legal for another two years.

Well, this will be Ben's final update from me. Last night his new owner came and picked him up. He is going to a good friend of mine and I'm excited that him and his family will be able to get back into wheeling after a 15+ year break. This will be an awesome 4Runner for him! As for me, I decided that I needed something more geared towards hard core wheeling. Amy and I have the 5th Gen 4Runner to use as an adventure/camping rig and we have the quads for family fun. Amy and Aubrey can take or leave wheeling, so I felt I should sell this 4Runner while it was still nice and buy something I wouldn't feel bad flopping. Anywho, I really enjoyed this 4Runner and I am stoked that I will still get to see it around. Here is my last pic of Ben, right before he went home to his new family:
