If I had a bender of my own I could ...the hardest part was getting the ends of the tubing where it is welded to the bumper to be flush enough for a solid weld. I'm all finished welding up the tubes and threw some paint on them so this afternoon after it dries I'll put this beast back on and get some finished pictures. Probably not gunna get the swing out tire carrier done until the end of July.

Not yet, I haven't had the chance, I've just messed around in Wentworth springs area/devils post pile/rubicon springs...I'm living in Vegas this summer, but next summer I plan on running all the way through.

Today I started working on the swing out tire carrier. When I first designed this bumper, I wasn't planning on putting a swing out carrier on it so I had to add on to the bumper for the mounts. I'm gunna be using some 1.75x.120 wall DOM that I have laying around for the main structure. Because I won't be using the swing out very much, I opted for a cheaper route on the hinge and am making it out of some of the tubing and chevy leaf spring bushings. I'm gunna be making a high lift mount on the carrier as well, and possibly a jerry can mount depending on how it all goes together.

And I also finished making my welding kart the other week, it's made of scrap angle iron from an old house AC unit mount when I got my changed and shopping cart wheels from a shopping cart I had laying around. Isn't the prettiest, but it does it's job

I love the efficient, form-follows-function way you've built this truck. It's one of my favorite 'yotas, really an inspiration. Looking forward to the tire carrier!
