89 4runner second chance

Okay so this is my 89 runner. Pulled out of a field last summer. Petty much got it to a drivable condition. From there I have done little odds and end stuff. Wanted to just get it on here. The more time I spend on the site the more inspiration I get to work on it. Gonna be a slow build but hopefully I can put more time into it than I have recently.

The guy I bought it from said it sat a year before I got to it. No trailer to get it home. Only option was to get it running and try and make it home. After a few hour with a multi meter and a fuel pump later she fired up. Frame is in fantastic shape. Interior trashed. Still is btw. Rear quarters petty bad but not horrible. 5 speed 22re. Red insides and guts. First 4runner but not first toyota. I have a 87 pickup that I was never able to figure out how to post on here but that's another story. More updates and pic to come but that's how we started out.

Okay so I lost a lot of the pics of my going thru the truck. Pretty much I had a buddy do a quick go thru the motor. Did timing chain, injectors, re did all the vacumn, cleaned fuel tank and Lines. Tore all the interior out and orange cleaned it all including vinyl flooring. Had horrible mold smell. Got the back window working again. Let's see.. Almost entire front end was redone both steering and suspension. Although I will have to redo the balljoint. I'm gonna breakdown and buy factory one cause none of what I try hold up or might wait to sas it. Not sure cause those factory ones are petty expensive. But anyway here are some pics over the last year I have had it.

Last pics were on the way home when I bought it. Fuel line clogged up probably lost a couple gallons on the way home.

Found a deal on wheel spacer. Scratch and dent from summit racing. 60 bucks for all for. I think they were an inch and a half spacer. Man I love living close to summit. Also threw on the wheels and tires from the pickup.
31.-10.5- 15. I like the wide stance.
