89 4runner looking for parts and advice

i just bought my 89 4runner sr5 and there is some bad body rust on the rear and front quarters. I got replacements for the font but i cannot find any rear. Also i want to redo the suspension with a 2-3 in lift. Is there any where i can find full kits for it?

For the rear panels you will have to cut em out of a truck that has good ones. It sucks but definately worth it and if you can find one at the nearest scrap yard you can get those panels for next to nothing.
As far as a full kit lift im assuming you are keeping the ifs? If so a cheap full kit would be at rough country. They have some pretty high quality lifts. When i've used them i've never had any problems. They will give you about 4"

Shop around tho! there are plenty of kits out there. If you have the skills and tools go for a straight axle swap. You can pick what height you like in this case.

If you have the money you could go with fiberglass quarter panels http://www.toyotafiberglass.com/4runner_10.html

they have them with built in 3" flare also...

PS. welcome to YotaTech, lets see some pics of your runner!

Those are really nice little out of my price range. I replaced my front fenders and they don't fit exactly right. Do you know if those do?

Yea I've heard that the aftermarket metal replacement fenders don't always align very good and take some work to make fit.
I don't know about the fiberglass ones, I've never researched them, just thought that if mine ever got to the point of needing replaced that I would probably go that route.

I'm probably gonna either bondo or get some sheet metal and weld it. But if not that sounds like my best bet thanks!

have a look in the vendor "build" section .. there are a few installs you can check out . in all honesty , and in our opinion (some others might pipe in to say the same) , this is the BEST permanint fix .
some "strength test vids" on the site you sould for sure check out .. this aint 1960's fiberglass!!!
toyotafiberglass.com .. we are a vendor here ..
