Well I will start by introducing myself. My names Julian. I have owned a 2nd gen runner and 3rd gen runner and an 80 series cruiser plus a few yota cars.

My last one was the cruiser. Which i really miss. I daily drive a silverado on 35s right now.

My quest for a new ride has been constant since then. I am on a budget and wasnt sure if id get something street legal or something id tow.

Well my brother introduced me to this 4runner sitting in his friends yard. Some rust and dings but runs super smooth. This would be my wheeler.

Well few days later.... im cleaning out yard of a house my moms selling and i had been eyeing the yota sitting nxt door for weeks since it never moved. Well i finally went over there today. Turns out he just drained all fluids since his buddy was coming tmrw to take it to junkyard. Headgasket went and body has fair amount of rust but otherwise fine.

Well i like my truck but dont love my truck. I love my yotas.

So I have decided to bring the 4runner back up to par and make daily drivable and turn the 88 into off road only.

It will be a little bit before these projects get underway because i am moving and getting situated but will keep track of both along the way.

Once i feel 4runner up to snuff ill probably sell my silverado.

Would you guys think it be ok to tow the 88 with the 4runner?

If itd be easier ill make seperate threads as well.

 

Anybody??? Can I tow the 88 around on a trailer with the 4runner??

Well new battery in her today and insured and registered. I was gonna drive her home but she was pretty rough since she hasnt moved since 09'.
