i got it for 4300. Its nice to have some power, but it isn't the best offroad truck. Weighs a LOT, and its not easy to control offroad.

here are some more updated pics

Same dude....I like the cummins....Im finally to the SAS point of my build.

Also bought a 99 Dodge Ram...which is for sale since I got a 2012 Ram lol

I would have liked to see where the yota ended up...I could see it linked on 42's by now if you would have kept it!! lol

Hey Hillbillyoter... How happy are you with the parts you got from Sky? I just bought a 4Runner and I am looking into doing a SAS on it. Looking at Sky and Trail Gear. Both kits look pretty similar and price is pretty close as well. Just thought I'd get some opinions before I get started. Thanks in advance!! Great looking rig by the way!

Thanks guys, Rogue im glad you finally got there, you won't regret it.... unless you sell it

nate i was very happy with the sky kit. It was awesome, just box that hanger in.

Anyways, i keep wanting to buy a toyota but i keep having to drop money into the dodge. Headgasket blew, and instead of just fixing it i decided to do a rebuild with a bunch of performance mods. I bought about $4500 bucks of parts for it, and am in the middle of the rebuild. Here are some updated pictures.

This look familiar to anyone?

thats the current stage. Ill post more updated pics soon.

Thats awesome man!! Do you have a build thread for the dodge on another forum? You should make one in one of the other threads on here. Id love to follow it. I've been looking for a Ram that style with a 12v but I want an extra cab. Hard to find in a 4x4.

if and when you replace whatever is wrong with the power steering you should first add in a PS filter into the system so help protect that

I only paid 131 for both of mine new at autozone, I had to get the gold series to get the lifetime warranty and they was special order but didn't matter to me. the previous owner was gonna put used ones back in it, that was his plan, but I went ahead and got new ones for it. The way I see it, if you gonna do some then FFS do it right the first time and get it over with, lmao

There maybe some moisture that got into your distributor cap also, that will cause problems as well

I also need a new drivers side window crank. anybody know where i can get these two parts? i think i need to replace the entire front diff cover. pic of what i mean below- the piece that goes around the circle deal and a bolt goes through it.

I found some on ebay that seemed a decent price but I hope that helps dude
