DAGGNABBIT~! Sorry to hear that, HB!

You got a line on one? I found one this week in CL, 6MO. Warranty, used, for 500$... I was like, WTH? lol. It sold in 20 minutes or so, grrr! lol. (I just want a project motor for the 84-85 4runner that I WILL eventually find!)

Oh sure, I hear ya! You know how I am with my rig, lol... but seriously, if I was just picking one up and not gonna trick it out/restore it, etc., .... maybe stomp on it good in the hills... WHY GO THROUGH ALL THAT, especially when we don't have much time, lately, eh????? lol.

Best wishes on that.... what year 22r is it, homie?

Wont you be fine just swapping your crap over? Do you really need that weber? (there, did that help you decide? HAHAHAHA. ... Seems like you're not wanting to deal with it/pay extra!).... Why not offer him 100$ less and see if he says, "Nah, you can just have it, with the Weber, for 100$ less"...... SHWWWWWWWWWWWING! LOL.

For $475 i belive i'd just buy it with the weber, hit him with $400 cash (with the weber) and see if he bites. I've got a buddy a couple of hollers over that paid near that for a 22re that needed rebuilt.

Nice find on the 22r. If it's in the budget I'd definitely do the timing chain while it's out so the next 100k miles are pretty much worry free. Just my $0.02.

Looks like an amazing thread. Unfortunately you have exceeded you bandwidth limit and so I see nothing but place holders. Oh and check out my build page too! Just started it so its a work in progress. And if you ever change your mind on a 350 swap let me know. I didnt do mine but I am WAAAYYY better with older carbed vehicles than I am with newer EFI engines. My first car was a 1957 slant six ford fairlane yeah baby. Anyways following your build up. Mine will be slow too so I feel ya.

Hey man, nice build, I can't see the pics in this thread, says the bandwith has been reached where your pics should be, but I saw the videos. I was just wondering what bumper that is on your 87 pickup. I have an 87 and am looking for a good bumper and like how yours looks. thanks
