how much room do you have behind that radio. I've wanted to put my Superstar there but it's a big bodied radio. I am gonna have to look up the dimensions on that nightwatch.

none whatsoever. the metal frame thing in the back there is what is stopping it from going in any farther. if you look at it closely, you can see the bottom of that console thing is sticking out a little in order to keep the radio set in the right spot. the shifter CAN hit the radio, but only if i try to hit it. just shifting normally doesnt hit it

well today i was parked forwards on that ramp, and the starter didnt want to work, even after i tapped it lightly. so i decided to roll it back and bump start it. well, even on a hill like that, it wouldnt go back on its own, so i had to pull it back. with the door open obviously. well, the door caught on the snowbank, and ripped it forward. tacoed the door in, wrecked the fender, and now i need a new door and fender. i fixed it the best i could, and i still have to lift it as hard as possible and slam the door to shut it. i did the exact same thing on the other side last winter

pics

it was folded all the way back to the inside sheetmetal at that crease there, and it was a pregnant dog to get back to "normal"

seriously, though, if you take the door off, you could probably bend out that big chunk to make it almost even, then tap it smooth with a hammer, and finish it off with sanding and paint. it's what i did, and it came out looking halfway decent

before

after

and then painted

looks good ian. but the dent isnt what bothers me haha. i bent the frame of the door or something so now it doesnt close unless i lift it up pretty hard and then slam it shut. that sides already dented to hell haha
