Got the front drive line put together and i clearenced my cadinal joint still need to measure the max angle. just measured and max angle is 40* where the zert isn't hitting and where it does hit it's at 35* doing to put a plug in so i dont have to come across the day the zert breaks off in the shaft.

But here it is while its getting balenced and straightened.

Drilling the front flange sucked but it is done i had other flanges around with the correct bolt pattern and in 23, 27 spline. I just could not find my socket to remove the flange nut. So i clamped one of the flanges face to face, center punched my holes and used about seven drill bits to get to the bolt size i needed. By the 4th drill bit i was aware two wholes were off center but the last two bits and the use of the flange as a patteren also worked as a guide for the drill. I do say i wish all my drill bit's were sharp as the first few new ones i had..

Thanks for the compliment. BIgtrucknwheels

Forgot to mention. I got the new long splin slip from trail gear and the front yoke flange was a very tight fit to the front diff flange i had to pull it it togerher with the bolts in a criss cross fashion.

Ugh i found three broken dowel pins in my wheel hubs, i managed to drill the center of one with two of my smallest drill bits. But after that it dulled every bit i tried.

Finished up the exhaust for now. Well till i replace the stock muffler and tail pipe.

Also noticed today that the previous owner gutted the cat .... i had no idea and have passed emissions twice now...
All i can say is dam the old carbed 22r was a dirty little engine...

It's been a while since I've posted here but since I have I've bought a new house with my wife so we no longer have to work in the rain. here's a picture of my truck sitting in our shop.

Its 960 square feet right now I have four vehicles in it plus room for extra stuff.

Here is a picture of my truck on a are rti ramp at the pistons wild cruisin

And last but not least I brought home a chemical cabinet from work the other day and when I opened it up and Doug through it I found this

It is a tilt meter voltmeter and oil pressure gauge combination out of 84ish Montero
