after I took tha head to a machine shop he said it was toast. Found another head that a guy had from a 22re he did a v6 swap on I took that to the machine shop and it was good got the block decked and changed the head gasket. I am goning to pull the engine this week and just maybe look at getting it rebuilt. Thanks for the support

come to think of it I think number one or number two cylinders had a small hairline crack in it but I did not give it a second thought other than the antifreze in the clyinder, block looked good.

Tear down is never fun but what can ya do when its necessary. At least you will know your truck better when all is said and done.

Got a line on a 1985 4x4 p/u SR5 lifted new tires brakes new holly car and locking tool box in the back. Only drag its yellow (but when it comes down to it who really cares). We shall see what happens with it. Oh rebuilt engine and transmission too.

I just emailed the guy today probably between 1300-and-1500 don't know might be worth it

Heck yeah most definitly. He might even be flexible. The guy I got mine from wanted 1600 but I ended up payin 900.

Well engine is Seized pistons don't want to move possibly a cracked block on it too. No garage space to get it in for now so we shall see what happens in the next week or so.

Yeah it does suck big time but we shall see what happens maybe its time to upgrade to and 88 or later truck idk Would you belive I took that dash apart and cleaned and painted it with one hand (my other was in a sling at that time)
