I've got a 2nd gen xtra cab and the previous owner cut the back of the cab out so it's open behind the seats and I want to cage it and put seats in the bed and 4x4 innovations has a sweet one for the 4 runner I was wondering if it would work in my truck

 

have you called them and asked? they are very helpful and open to taking customer calls. call them up and get dimensions of the rear so you can compare it to what you have on your truck. I'm guessing that it will not fit based on xcab length vs 4runner length vs where the rear of the cage ties into body/frame, but it might work with some tweaking. They might even be able to customize one for you to fit your rig.
