Looks great! I'm thinking about getting some BJ spacers. What inch lift is yours? Also, in that pic do you have any lift on the back or is that just stock rear with the BJ'ed front? I think that stance is pretty menacing

I ended up cutting the cherokee coils down to 12 in so I could fit them w/o a spring compressor, and that gave me the perfect height.
Get ready to hate those studs on the ball joints they are a nightmare, but I ended up finding a couple small sharp drill bits that saved the day

Fresh FA5040!!!
Went the autozone in canton a couple days ago and it wasn't in stock but the price was 35.99, so I went to one in Peoria that said they had it and it came up at 49.99!! a quick phone call took care of that...

Put in a remanufactured alternator last night. I'm glad the plug was wired in for a 1990 alternator because the 93 that should've been there was almost 100 bucks more.

I really like them for what they are,
They make some noise on the highway, but they dig great in dirt and mud
They are wearing kinda fast, but there all even and a ton better than the wildcats I had before
32 11.50 looks awesome, especially with the bj spacers, but with stocks 4.10s and a 4 banger they really hurt in the trails, 2nd gears bogs too easy in 4 lo on hills and 1st 4 high bogs in mud

I'm considering trying adjusting a spare afm i've got laying around a couple notches leaner to aim for some more mpg. It would be run with the stock air box/ paper filter and a free flowing exhaust.
What do you all think about it? I found a couple old threads split between whether it made a difference or not but none of them came to much of a conclusion. Also if I test it with a electrical tester to the terminals how would I want it to be different from the spec in the fsm?

Just a few questions about your Zuk mod in the rear because I'm planning one for my truck
Are the Cherokee coils big enough to fit over the top bumpstop?
Does it ride stiff?
Are they front or rear coils?
I was just wondering because if I can't find a set of TJ coils at the junkyard, I could always use XJ coils.

The ride did turn out pretty stiff, if I did it in the future I might try to find some coils with a lower spring rate but with those cut down to 12in I could get them in w/o a spring compressor and they matched perfect with the bj spacers on untouched torsion bar setting.
And they're front coils (xj's have leafs in the back)

I can't really tell a difference from full exhaust, it seems to make a little more power in the higher rpm's but that about it. I know when I've drove it without the cherry bomb and second half of the pipe it'll run like crap.

Has anyone else with ball joint spacers had trouble keeping your alignment? My front ends way off a few months after I got it aligned the first time, and I haven't done much wheeling compared to what I've done in the past w/o the lift.
